  • The best place to start is by registering with immoafrica - it's free and quick. Once registered, you avoid the hassles of needing to log in whenever you want to add favourites, take notes, save searches, manage alerts, contact agents or contribute to the immoafrica community.

  • How can I save and follow my favourite listings?

  • You can save and follow your favourite listings in one of two ways:

    1. On the search result page - simply hover your cursor over a listing and a link will appear called "Save". If you are not logged in, immoafrica will ask you to do so in order to proceed. If you don't have an account, you can sign up within the light box that opens. The listing is then automatically saved to your shortlist and will appear under "My immoafrica / My Favourites" where you can manage it accordingly.

    2. On the property details page - click the link “Save” under the "Overview/Facts" module. The procedure is the same as in option 1 above.

  • How do I subscribe to property alerts and where can I manage them?

  • Essentially you have two options for subscribing to property alerts:

    1. No registration required:

    a) Go to the "Services" tab and click on Property Alerts - simple enter what you're searching for, e.g. house/3 beds/2 baths/Claremont/Cape Town, enter your email address and click "create alert". You will receive notifications when new listings are added that match your specifications.

    b) Conduct a normal property search and specify all your details. Click "Get email alerts" either at the top or bottom of the search results page.

NOTE: You can only unsubscribe from these alerts by clicking the "unsubscribe" link within the emails you receive.

    2. Registration required:

On the top right of the search results page, click "Save this search" - your search, including all specified parameters, is saved to your profile and you have the option of activating/deactivating the alert status under "My immoafrica / My Saved Searches".

  • I cannot seem to find the right property, what should I do?

  • If you cannot find the right property or have been searching endlessly, the best thing to do is to create a property alert under Services / Property Alerts (no registration required) or under "My immoafrica / My Saved Searches" (registration required). This saves you time and energy as immoafrica will notify you as soon as new listings are added that match your property alert criteria.
